Police announce that Pristina Regional Crime Investigation Unit ( NJRKEK-Pristina today has accepted a tip regarding an official from the Constitutional Court, who has allegedly committed criminal work “Taking in <xhode1> The official in question allegedly asked a citizen for money to help in a case the victim had at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, concerning a subject.
After accepting information in question and professional verification, Kosovo Police ( NJRHKEK Pristina has taken immediate action, including the application of sophisticated technical methods of the investigation, and have managed to arrest the suspect (court official) in Faglarza.
The suspected person for Corruption Criminal Acts as “KPRK's, after the interview, by order of the competent prosecutor has been taken to 48 hours' maintenance.
Kosovo police encourage all citizens that corruption cases be reported to competent bodies everywhere and whenever they occur, as long as we reconfirm that the KP is taking and will take legal action against any individual who is involved in such corrupt actions, regardless of the role and function it has”, the police report said.
