The Basic Court in Pristina . . The General Department of Criminal Affairs has decided regarding the Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor's request for the appointment of house arrest measures against indictees F.A because of the unprohibited break-down of pregnancy by Article 184 par2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. The court has taken office and defendants F.A. were assigned home arrest measures from 07.02.2019 until the date 06.03.2019”, said a report by the Media Court.
On the other hand, it said there is a suspicion that defendant F.A by Thursday. 15.01.2019 in opposition to the 03L-10 Law on Suspication, in its private specialistic-gynecological administration, has caused a break in pregnancy to the injury A.G.
The court has found that the request for house arrest was made in view of the burden of a criminal offense, since the defendant if found on freedom, there is danger that the same would affect witnesses or flee in order to avoid criminal responsibility.
