I hosted the Kosovo Peace Corps director, Mrs. Darlene Grant, with whom I talked about the commitment of Peace Corps volunteers to several schools of different Kosovo municipalities.
I thanked Director Grant for the contribution they have made and are continuing to give Peace Corps volunteers in teaching English for our students, and I stressed that this commitment has consistently yielded good results.
At this meeting we also talked about the possibility of extending the program to municipalities that are not currently involved in this programme. In this regard, the need for greater cooperation with the municipal education directors was stressed so that the programme can be as successful in establishing quality in teaching and teaching English.
