He has stressed that Britain has recognised Kosovo's independence, as both countries have the same principles.
“Today, 11 years ago, Kosovo has declared independence on the basis of Ahtisaari's plan. Kosovo was born as a republic of many nations, democratic, where law and human rights rules”.
“Britania has recognised Kosovo's independence over a day because we have the same principles. But we keep these principles in our hearts after 11 years and continue to support the Republic of Kosovo, how it was born, and how it is”.
I welcome every Kosovar this day, the independence of Kosovo, and we welcome 111 years of friendship between Britain and Kosovo”.
