Ozili had posted in social media about the treatment of Uicture Muslims in China, reportedly being discriminated against in brutal ways by Chinese authorities.
The Arsenal distanced himself from those comments through a statement saying that “would always remain a nonpolitical organisation”.
The Chinese Football Federation stated that Turkish energyman's comments had been unacceptable “” and had “relaxed Chinese fans' feelings”.
In social media, Ozil had called the waters “fighters resisting persecution” and criticised the Muslims' kin and silence for such a thing.
