Thaci pays tribute in Recak, few days after Vuciqi denied massacre

The massacre has its anniversary in January, as Thaci has announced he will pay tribute tomorrow at 11:30 at the memorial complex.

That visit by Thaci comes days after Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, denied this massacre, calling it fiction.

“at 11:30 p.m., Republic of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci will pay tribute at the Recak” Memorial complex, the presidency's announcement said.

The head of state had reacted after Vuciki's statements, saying that the “officials from Serbia are denying some of the worst crimes against civilians who occurred in Europe, as in Recak, confirmed by the International Tribunal at The Hague”.
