The operation was conducted in Belgrade by an international team of doctors and is the third known in medical history after two of the money carried out in the US 40 years ago, even these two operations were performed between twins.
The absence of both testicles is extremely rare.
The difficult operation in Serbia was performed on the two brothers in the two operating halls next door and was done to give recipients the most stable levels of the testosterone hormone, as well as to allow him to have children.
The two Serbian brothers are in good health. The transplant recipient already has normal testosterone levels. Donator, who already has children, is expected to remain as fertile as he was before surgery. The recipient will be able to conceive of children, not by normal means, but by means of in vitro fertilization, taking sperm from his testicles. Perhaps a future intervention will allow him to be a father without a vital fertilization.
