Mortore remains are found in Muslim tombs in northern Mitrovica

The news has made it known about Free Europe Free Conception Radio from the Government Commission for Undiscovered Persons.
“In the application of the Special Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kosovo, necessary excavations have been carried out, which have resulted in the discovery and exhumation of bone parts of at least two people. In further procedure, in the sense of forensic examinations, including identification through DNA analysis, the number of exhumed persons will be determined, as well as their identity”, Gara said.
In the place where these bone wastes were found, specific teams of Kosovo Legal Medicine have done twice before, finding a person's mortore remains.
Kosovo authorities, during 2019, have conducted excavations at 26 locations within Kosovo's territory, suspected of mass cemetery.
Excavations, last week at the university campus in Pristina, which have ended without any findings, are not the last for this year, government Commission officials have said of the Invisible Persons.
About 6,500 people have resulted as undiscovered at the end of the Kosovo war in 1999.
Some 70 percent of them have already been found in mass graves in Kosovo and Serbia.
Meanwhile, the fate and location of some 1,600 others are still unknown.
