LDK Deputy Chairman: VV's meet the President, join the coalition.

LDK Deputy Chairman Agim Veliu is clear that there is no coalition with Vetevendosje if Albin Kurti intends to subdue the party founded by Ibrahim Rugova.

He has said that the party with 29 deputies is not entitled to take the two main positions in the state, including the president.

The “would not be a state effort if a political subject, whether it is Vetevendosje or LDK, had the two main positions in the state, both the prime minister and the president. The chairman of Podujevo has insisted that the president's case be clarified, because one year later he may face difficulties.

The LDK's “position is clear, we ask that we clear up the deal, not to leave issues on the way that bring problems. The coalition may be at risk when the time of the president's election comes, if we don't have an agreement between ourselves, how can we make arrangements with others to secure the votes in the Parliament”, Veliu said.

He has said that if the selection for the Ministry of Internal Affairs is done with the knowledge of Albin Kurti and Isa Mustaf, then there is no reason to change.

“Since Mr. Mustafa has chosen the Ministry of Internal Affairs, then Mr. Mustafa does not move and if the choice has been made jointly with Mr. Kurti, then there is no reason to change”, he said.

Veliu has declared that Vetevendosje must pledge that when the time of the president's election comes, it should support the LDK's proposal for president.

If we don't have preliminary agreements that have a VV pledge that the LDK proposal will be supported and then more broad support should be required, because for the president, over 80 deputies should be in the hall. If there are not 80 deputies, then the whole process fails”, Veliu has said.

The LDK deputy chairman has said the LDK has no name so far for president.

until today there is no name; no name that this or that will be set. The LDK honestly does not have a special name for president at present, but is demanding that he have the right to candidate proposal for President”, he said.

Both parties -- the LDK and Vetevendosje -- have harmonised the government programme 100 per cent. But they cannot negotiate the division of key state posts, more precisely the president's, whom the LDK is insisting belongs to.

Podujevo Chairman Agim Veliu, among other things, has said he has not talked to the Mitrovica chairman about who the minister belongs to.

We have not discussed the Ministry of Internal Affairs with Agim Bahtirir, it is not true that the MPB will meet Vetevendosje. Veliu has commented on the statements of Agim Bahtiri, who for Express said the MPB will meet Vetevendosje anyway.

Not only Wyosa Osmani, but we must all learn to take responsibility, not only to seek, but also to take responsibility. He has said that under circumstances in Kosovo, a consensus candidate for president cannot be found.

He has said he has no knowledge when the next meeting between Albin Kurti and Isa Mustaf will take place, adding that he is not as safe as Agim Bahtiri for the upcoming meeting between the two party leaders.

I don't know and I can't talk to him for sure that's Agim Bahtiri, maybe he knows when Kurt and Mustafa will meet, but I don't know. There may be meetings at any time, because we didn't have any stops that there would be no meetings, but when they happen, the two leaders can agree, because they agreed to talk face-to-face about building coalition”, Veliu said.

On the other hand, Veliu has said that the solution between the VV and LDK would have to be found and that it is not right for Vetevendosje to insist that both the prime minister and the president meet her.

I think it would take a solution, because it's not a problem for Vetevendosje that now insists that both the prime minister and the president should meet the VV's, because we wanted or ended up, in this system, the prime minister of the country has the main role. The LDK deputy chairman said his party has no problem changing key positions with the VV, while LDK takes over the prime minister, while Vetevendosje is the president and speaker of the Parliament.
