The”The funds were paid to the Albanian Ministry of Finance and Economy in support of its efforts to respond to the urgent needs of Albania's people and to ease the consequences of the” earthquake, the Latvian Foreign Ministry said.
Latvia provided humanitarian aid to Albania even when the country was hit by another earthquake on September 21st, which was accompanied by heavy rainfall and floods.
