Kosovo Women Network Seeks Punishment of Attack on Women

RGK at this meeting gathered 158 member organisations, partners and many supporters of their work, Klan Kosova reports.

RGK board head Ariana Qosja used this assembly to re-require victims' protection and punishment of violators from justice institutions.

We've requested accountability and you know that we've been out in protests by mobling to institutions even when we know that the justice system was involved”.

This year alone, there are eight victims, including children. We've asked the state for deserved punishment for those who perform these works. In many cities we have been present and have met with the victims we have tried to solidify. We've also had movement in legislative change, so we have a little positive movement in this direction”.

RGK has also shared the annual award “Sevdije Ahmeti” for Luljeta Pula-Beqiri for his contribution to women during the 1990s. This award was split for the second time this year.

RKG has also praised the work of Jurydic professor in UP, Judge Mushkolaj, saying she worked hard on our Constitution to improve women's rights.

At the same time, she said in her address that in the establishment of institutions and in the state of central locomotive there were and there were women.
