Kosovo Telecom: Minister Luka endangers national security

The year 2019 has characterised Kosovo's Telekom with numerous challenges and difficulties, whether in terms of operation as a result of the financial inability to maintain and develop its platforms for providing better services for consumers; or the lack of support missing from the Actionary -- namely, from MZHE -- as the representative [...]
Understandably, all telecommunications companies in the world have been faced with a decline in revenues as a result of many factors, while Kosovo Telecom has not even escaped this decline. In view of this trend, Kosovo Telecom, problems, challenges, financial problems have been officially addressed to MZHE minister. Valdrin Lluka.
Minister Luka every time and every possible meeting has been reminded of the problems and possible consequences of neglect and inadequate support for our company, at the time we needed mostly mutual co-operation and clear address of decision making to benefit technical, financial and social stability for Kosovo Telecom.
Instead of this lack of support, Minister Luka for reasons he only knows, in many cases has damaged the image of Telekom of Kosovo with his statements of bankruptcy of the company, statements that should not represent the principled and logical position of the Actionary government in this case.
The conversion of such statements by Minister Luka still remains unknown and unclear.
And, at the same time, the decision on non-executing the Kosovo Government's separate means, Minister Luka strengthens our conviction that by his decisions it is deliberately damaging and for its interests the business of Kosovo Telecom.
Minister Luka's statements for his biased purposes have not only stabilised the normal operations of our company, but with such actions it is endangering National Security by making even national security institutions, such as Kosovo Police, difficult to operate. AKI, KFOR, Fire Department, Emergency Services, Tower and Airport.
We have all sought support from this minister to enable us and facilitate the finalisation procedures of the process of obtaining a banking guarantee to finance the most important projects for Kosovo Telekom, such as the project for implementation of the State Code, the Law for Respond, and the overall maintenance of technical platforms.
However, all these challenges and difficulties have been met and overcome by shared commitment.
Kosovo's telecom has set clear goals and objectives for next year, and we believe we will manage to live with the priceless dedication of all, including the necessary institutional support.
