“Skenderbeu has no connection with Albania's independence, declared on November 28, 1912x1>, says Imam Bekir Halimi.
He even says that the starter of creating the Albanian state was the combs, minimising the role of Albanians of other products in creating the Albanian state.
Hoxha saw the point of shame lying when she said Skenderbeu had nothing to do with November 28th. Skenderbeu was the only person associated with 28 November because it was Skenderbeu's flag that was raised in Vlora on November 28, 1912. Skenderbeu had declared independence on November 28th, 1443, so the declaration of independence on November 28, 1912 is called the Second Mother of November.
