Women who use permanent hair paint or hair director face a greater risk of breast cancer, scientists say.
Researchers at the U.S. National Institute of Health traced almost 50,000 women over eight years.
Women who regularly reported the use of permanent hair colors had nine percent more likely to develop the disease than those who did not.
And those who had used a dry treatment for hair management every five to eight weeks had a risk of 30 percent higher, showed the results.
