The European Union assessed as effective work what is being done at the border by Kosovo and Serbian police, now when the movements in this part have increased.
EU Director for the Western Balkans Angelina Eichhorst wrote that three crossings are operating in Merdare, and that columns are becoming the cause of the holidays.
The same has called for the joint work to continue to solve column creation triggers.
“Our colleagues working for EULEX, Kosovo Police and Serbian authorities control, monitor and report. The border crossing at Merdare, at the time of the peak, is operating three crossings.
