Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine's Volodymr Zelensky met each other at the Paris summit during Monday.
Mr. Zelensky was pessimistic, saying little had been achieved during the meeting and that he wanted more issues to be resolved, the BBC writes, translates Periscopi.
Five and a half years of fighting between Ukrainian forces and Russia-backed rebels killed 13 thousand people.
Under the deal, there will be a exchange of prisoners between the two countries, and the Ukrainian Army will withdraw from key areas on the front line.
In a written statement, these two countries agree to exchange prisoners, as mentioned earlier, by the end of this year.
By March 2020, their military forces will leave the key regions in Ukraine, without specifying what they were.
Additional talks will be held over four months to see the ceasefire process.
President Putin praised them as the “an important step” forward towards the de-passing of the conflict. /Periscope
