Bahtiri begs the LDK: For the sake of citizens, sign the agreement.

Mitrovica Mayor Agim Bahtiri has called on the LDK to find courage for the sake of citizens and reach agreement on co-governance with the self-rule movement.

Bahtiri has expressed confidence that his request is joined by citizens who, according to him, are anxious.

I appeal to the Headship, the General Council and the LDK chairman who for the sake of citizens, who on October 6th have voted wholeheartedly for change, find courage and reach the agreement to co-go ahead of the Kosovo Assembly's inaugural movement.

Citizens are looking forward to this to happen, so it is imperative that the agreement be reached now.

My request, I think, joins hundreds of thousands of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who are anxious and we cannot disappoint, as citizens this time have shown determination to get out of the dark. Citizens have entrusted us with government, so we must take their will together.

For the sake of citizens, the removal of evil and the return of normality to the country, I appeal to the LDK to give up some immediate interests and sign the agreement today.
