22 years later ex-soldier KLA removes grenade fragment from body

A former Kosovo Liberation Army soldier from Podujevo suffered reactions to a wound that had been familiarised with his body for 22 years.

He was carrying a piece of grenade since the war.

Doctor Muhamet Hoti, who has conducted the investigation, has told of the case.

The same man appeared in the hospital only when the pain from this wound appeared.

According to Hoti, this intervention was conducted with local anesthesia and intervention proved successful.

But although the fragment of the grenade was removed from his body, this former soldier of The NLA chose not to stay far from that part.

Among other things, the doctor made it known that the human body is familiar with foreign bodies, so this grenade has been standing for so long.
