The two presidents said they have made it available to state institutions to cope with the tragedy it left behind.
Thaci, expressing condolences to the victims, said Albania is not alone in this battle of natural disaster, but that it has Kosovo.
I wish that on behalf of Kosovo institutions to express condolences to President Meta, the institutions of Albania, the Albanian people for this natural disaster and for victims. We express Kosovo's solidarity in this common commitment, in these not easy days”.
When Albania has pain and Kosovo has pain, when Albania mourns and Kosovo has black”
Thaci has also thanked all Kosovars for helping their brothers, especially the soldiers, police and research teams that are in Albania.
I want to thank the men and women of the Kosovo Army and the police who have reacted and have been found near the brothers and sisters here in Durres and throughout”.
“Albania is not alone with Kosovo and partner states that are here with all their specialised teams. Comfort all the families of the victims, so we'll be committed to co-ordinating with Albania's institutions so that we can get through this whole pain of”.
Thaci said the doors to Kosovo houses are open to families needing housing.
Kosovo is close to Albania and its citizens with all its state and civic potential, not only in moral terms. Albania has done much for Kosovo in 1999 when every family in Albania had opened the doors to Kosovo families who were expelled from their homes at the time. The same applies today to Albanian families who need housing by having the doors opened to Kosovo families”.
But I believe that Albania's institutions are at the helm of obligations, committed and dedicated to housing families that need”.
“Today I met Kosovo soldiers and police who are here. I also met Romanians and representatives of other countries. This disaster exceeds ethnic frameworks that are human and is not only a solidarity within Albanians but much broader”.
