This help may be in the form of financial compensation, support to receive adequate medical services, or return to schooling or help to find a home or residence.
This fund will also support governments to create their retaliatory schemes.
The initiative, which is officially launched in New York on Wednesday, is expected to raise funds from governments that want to donate money and the private sector, with the aim of collecting between $50m and $100m by 2022.
