Recent news from the situation in Prizren: 500 sheltered, field camp

Through a media communique, it has become known that 500 people are currently being arranged in this country, the news.net writes.

It has also become known that the possibility of creating a furniture kitchen is being seen, because according to the municipality, it cannot continue feeding through donors.

Haskuka, due to the inability to accept other people into the park, has called on all those who can house other families from Durres coming to Kosovo, to be notified in the undermarked numbers.

Today we gathered together with the entire emergency team engaged in shelter and care for the people affected by the earthquake in the Innovation and Treatment Park to analyze the situation and see the further steps we need to take to manage this state of emergency.

Albania's flight of arrivals has been huge last night, with Creras Park meeting all available capacities, setting up over 500 people. In this case, I ask that everyone take this into account and not be directed to Park without warning, since there is no more capacity to accept more people.

All of those coming to Park are registered, and from now on we're going to make a more detailed registry to learn their health, social and educational needs.

From the Pedagogic Service -Psicology that is within our municipality, from today a specialised team will be engaged to take care of their psychological condition, while primary healthcare teams have been engaged from the very beginning and have done excellent work so far.

Yesterday and today, the food is provided through donations that have come from local businesses, but it can't go on that way and that's why we're looking at the possibility that we urgently create a mobile kitchen and provide food in cooperation with charitable associations.

In addition to equipping people in the Innovation and Training Park, we are aware that many families have voluntarily opened their homes to admit the people affected by the earthquake. For this, please pray to all of those who have accepted our friends from Albania or have free places and can accept other people, let them be notified at the Call Center “Alo Komuna” in the 0800 19 200 and Viber +38345 200 so that we can identify them and have a database to make it easier to manage this situation. This would enable us to find solutions more easily to those who come and have nowhere to stay and at the same time offer health and educational services to them.

So far the entire management of this situation has been carried out by the volunteers and our forces that we have as Prizren's municipality, as well as to cope with this situation in the coming days, we expect to have support from central-level institutions.
