Mustafa and Osmani remain silent, but someone in LDK defends Lutfi Haziri

Just two days before the fifth meeting of the working groups of Vetevendosje and the Democratic League of Kosovo under the reach of the ruling coalition agreement, LDK deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri sparked numerous reactions with a statement published in his Facebook profile. Bringing the prime minister's case back into question, [...]
The “already knows that no party can form the government alone because the electoral system in Kosovo does not allow that. This country needs good governance as it needs air. But what's clear is that the prime minister's name passes through the LDK's office!” has written the LDK's number two.
Although this statement was seen as a favourable position on the potential VV coalition partner, the same did not get support from party leader Isa Mustafa and Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani's candidate.
But despite the failure to react to the top LDK leaders, it seems that someone in this party agrees with Lutfi Haziri's statements.
Contacted by Periscopi, LDK member Arben Gashi said there is no comment on this Lutfi Haziri statement, adding that “when the deputy chairman speaks, the party has spoken”.
Mr. Haziri is vice president of the LDK, and he knows his mind. Nor do I stand behind that statement, Mr. Haziri is LDK deputy chairman, I have nothing to comment on, when the chairman and vice-presidents speak, has spoken to the party”, Gashi told Periscope.
Gashi added that what Haziri has said is being extracted from the context.
“is coming out of context what Mr. Haziri said by trying to create peace situations”, Gashi said.
LDK Deputy Chairman Agim Veliu contacted by Periscopi did not comment at all on this statement, saying he has no time to speak after he is at a meeting, while other party members as prime ministerial candidate Vjosa Osmani and others, such as Metom Shala, Avdullah Hoti and Lumir Abdijdzic of Dorutin Maloku, did not answer the phone at all.
Other reactions by the Vetevendosje Movement were made by economists, Iron Murati, even from Avni Zogiani. / PERISCOP
