The municipality shut down the nightclub, the owner attacked Peja inspector

Director Murtezaj has been attacked by discotheque owner “Arturs”, Ardian Celaj and another person who happened on the run as they are being sought by Kosovo police.

Director Murtezaj sought medical help.

It is learned that Murtezaj was together with construction inspector Mentor Beqiri and two others at a coffee bar, where the initial verbal attack has started between Cela and construction inspector, to end with the beating of the Chief Inspector.

Leotrim Murtezaj, director of the Inspectorate of the Peja municipality, has told of news.net that this act is an attack on municipal inspection until it has shown the performance of the event.

I was with a construction inspector and two other municipal colleagues. Some people have arrived who have had legal problems with the construction inspectorate. Then, in time, we have had legal problems with them even because of the closing of their discotheque. The municipality has made that decision because it is not allowed discotheque in the urban area. So we've come face to face with them in the past. They considered that we did them deliberately, came out yesterday and provoked. At first, they threw words at us and then attacked me with beer cups and then physically. Because of my bodily injuries, I asked for medical help”, the Director of Murtezaj told us about the news.
