Today, in the early hours of the morning, the General Directorate of the Kosovo Police has mobilised its police units, which have been launched in the direction of the Republic of Albania, to assist emergency units that are in the search operation, as a result of the powerful earthquake occurring at several locations in Albania.
The PK police units, in the composition of a hundred and ten (110) operators of specialised units equipped with various logistical devices, which have already crossed Kosovo's border, will be in service to Albania's authorities and, according to the emergency need, will operate in search-of rescue of residents who are suspected to be left under the rubble of broken facilities.
Kosovo police express their readiness to bring all police and logistical capacities into office, in support and support of Albania's authorities and its citizens, affected by today's morning earthquake.
Kosovo police will also be in a position of readiness to engage in Kosovo, where several lower-scale earthquakes are recorded.
