Haradinaj invited Ahmeti answers to the party

The Social Democrat Party will not merge into any party. So said the chairman of this party, Shpend Ahmeti, today. The PSD, on the basis of the CEC's preliminary results in the 6 October parliamentary elections, has proved very poor. It has competed in the coalition with the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, led by incumbent Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.

The latter has offered opportunities to Ahmeti's party, but the latter has said the PSD does not plan to join any other political subject.

Ahmeti also said he has no intention of resigning, even though his party proved weak in the elections.

As he talks about the result Ahmeti considers unsatisfying any possibility that the PSD will join another party.

According to him, the PSD will review its actions in the past two years to see how to move forward as political subject in the country.

Ahmeti: PSD not seen at any party

“The PSD does not melt into any other party. So I've heard Mr. Haradinaj, it's all right as the Alliance that can pull but not pull. The PSD has had pre-election co-operation with the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo yet we do not know the results, but are not satisfactory for us who made us reconsider, we rethink all that we have done in the past two years and see how we can move forward. But of course it's not about merger or joining any other” party, Ahmeti said.

According to PSD leader up to this poor outcome The PSD in the 6 October elections came because of actions it has made as an opposition party in the past Kosovo Assembly legislature.

Not wanting to blame anyone, Ahmeti indicated that this party for its actions was punished by the citizen after conviction was created that the PSD as an opposition party did not act well.

Ahmeti: Actions as rational opposition have punished us

And the perception they have for me is falling from last year, so it's also about the image, and it's about the decisions that we've taken from each of us to assume responsibility. We continue to think that we have acted as rational opposition we've been thinking about the state for the interests of the state, what we've told it will be done now because even now the future government is talking about dialogue with the opposition, so they don't get into dialogue with Serbia without the opposition, so it's what we've been telling them all the time. However, we have paid for a punishment from citizens, and we must admit that we have nothing to say. Now I can analyze it, I can say that it's not my fault, it's the fault to whom, at the Alliance, it's the whole budget decision, I don't think there's one fault or two, but it's come to believe that the PSD didn't do well, and the result of the elections that we're being held for those” actions, Ahmeti said.

First The PSD until it said I will not resign to such a difficult situation that he is facing, expressed readiness to leave the party in order to move ahead of the PSD.

Ahmeti: I don't have the personality to escape when it's the hardest.

I don't have it so hard on my personality to escape when it's the hardest, so it's easier now to quit and say, "Do whatever you want me to do that I finished with mine what I had." So I want a rational discussion we've told all members that I don't want to run away from any responsibility, I'm not leaving because it's hard, but I'm willing to sit down in the second order, third of all if we think this is the way forward so I have the promises I have to end up in Pristina's” mandate, Ahmeti said.

We remember that in the October 6th early parliamentary elections the AAK coalition- The PSD was ranked the fourth subject on the basis of the CEC's preliminary results.

According to these results, the PSD risks being left without any MP in Kosovo's seventh Parliamentary legislature, and how the possibility of this political party being represented in the Kosovo Assembly is through Nature Kuci, which is still unknown whether he has managed to get votes to be deputy of the 7th Parliament of Kosovo.
