Gynecologists sound the alarm: Overuse of this drug in pregnancy increases the risk of abortion

The use of fluchonazoli, an antimycotic drug, from the mouth during pregnancy increases the risk of spontaneous abortion. Local drug application, on the other hand, is secure. To explain this, a study has been conducted that shows that when taken from the mouth, the base of fluconazole drugs is used to combat highly common computer infections during pregnancy, such as vaginal candysis, which affects 10% of pregnant women, including an increasing statistical risk of abortion compared to the use of the same drugs used for local use, or only in the place of the cream.
Local use and abortion/ Researchers saw the data of 1.4 million pregnancies in Denmark between 1997 and 2013, the combination of data related to Fluconazole with oral and local use during pregnancy by registered mothers and abortions. The figures show that 147 out of 3,315 women who had used oral medicine between 7th and 22nd pregnant weeks (4.43%), had had had had an abortion against 563 abortions among 13,246 women without being exposed to the drug. As to the use of cream, the study has found that future cases of abortion were lower.
Green light for oils and creams Mecotics are linked with a higher risk of abortion than women who have not used it or those that have used creams.
Look out! The authors of the study point out that further research is needed to improve the risk link to spontaneous abortions and the use of such drugs. / P Um... RNAT
