The festival of poetry and creative music in the Diaspora” was held in Sweden

The festival was organised by the Ministry of Diaspore and Strategic Investments in co-operation with the Union of Albanian Associations in Sweden.

The Union of Albanian Associations in Sweden for nearly two decades keeps literary and musical creativity alive through the XVIl Festival of Albanian Culture and Music in Diaspora.

On behalf of the Union of Albanian Associations in Sweden, Sadullah chairman Zendeli-Daja opened the festival. Union Organising Secretary Ahmet Bella, diaspora Minister Muhamet Selmani's adviser, and Kosovo consul in the Kingdom of Sweden Fatmir Candman also welcomed.

As with other times, the festival began with the promotion of literary works published over the year. This time it was promoted “Andology of Swedish poetry” of Qrim Raki as well as the last two works in Swedish Rizah Sheqiri.

Those years were presented by 25 poems of Albanian creators coming from Sweden, Germany, England, Greece, which I appreciate the jury in compounds by Agron Dalipaj, Muhamet Selmani, Astrit Gashi and Feriz Feriz.

While composer Ahmet Bella “Elegy's musical parts of the nation's martyrs and Ujönder barton and” Nostalgi” and Sami Piyet were sung by Frederick Sgenson Soprano, Jens Sjöllander barton, Leena Malaki Soprano and Ahmet Bellanoor. Philip Kang accompanied them by piano.

According to the jury decision, poetry” My” skull by Sadik Krasniqi took first place with an equal number of points in poetry” The poem of the poet Vera Peci on the basis of double vote by the chairman of the jury Agron Dalipaj. The poems: “Phuth with the stars of Ejup Krasniqi and “We waited” and Aferdita Xani were honoured with third place.

The first place for best play in music was won by the “Elegy for the martyrs of the nation, and by the composer Ahmet Bella, and second place the second half “Nostalgia” of Sami Piright. The special award of the “Kosovo festival, Rexepe Bala”, won by SadullahZendeli-Daja, the Ministry of Culture set aside its award for best poetry that my” Kafka”

For all guests, dinner was made, by the organization to continue with the popular singer Aferdita Xani on the follow-up to Agron Miftar.

The Union of Albanian Associations in Sweden will also bring the surprise of the year. The two actresses of this union, Vera Peci and Rina Slovenija, will be presented in the TV series” den tunna blø line”, which will begin in 2021.
