Strong nausea can lead to dehydranation and a lack of number one pregnancy, which dramatically increases the risk of developing autism to the baby
Scientists want pregnant women to be aware of the relationship because they can help in early diagnosis of autism.
This study is important because it suggests that children of mothers who have suffered from hyperemese pregnancy are exposed to great risk from autism. The awareness that this relationship exists can help in early diagnosis and intervention on children who have this disorder”, says lead author of the study, Dr. Darios Getaun.
Gatun and his team of scientists from California have analyzed the data of almost 500,000 pregnant and children born between 1991 and 2014.
They have compared the children of mothers who have been diagnosed with intense involvement in the morning and have concluded that the chances are for such mothers to have children who have been disturbed by the spectrum of greater autism for even 53 percent!
More precisely, scientists point out that danger was greater in cases when powerful nausea was diagnosed in the first or second quarter of pregnancy than in the third.
Scientists have also discovered that the connection between morning nausea and autism is greater among girls than among young people.
The intense morning mix (hypermesis gravidrum) is diagnosed in less than five percent of pregnancies.
Women who are diagnosed have strong nausea and often vomit, namely. They can't keep food and drinks in their stomach.
