Three are the people who have passed away as a result of the powerful earthquake that struck the country around 3:50. The victims are residents of Durres, Kurbin and Thumma.
Kristi, a third year medical student, has been confirmed as the first victim in the palace of several stories that collapsed in the Red Cross area in Durres. Meanwhile, a person in Kurbin has collapsed from the balcony during earth's shaking. A woman also passed away from the collapse of a palace in Thumana.
In Tirana, Durres and Kruja all over the country, according to preliminary data, 150 citizens are receiving service in hospitals. Medical teams are currently in a state of complete readiness, both in Tirana, Durres and all Albania.
The Ministry of Education has announced that instruction has been suspended for today in Tirana and Durres.
