Police in Malta have arrested one of the country's best-known businessmen in connection with an investigation into the murder of journalist Daphne Carwana Gallizia.
Jorgen Fenech, owner of the 17 Black Company, was arrested by officers, the Times of Malta reported.
For his 17 Black company, Carwana Gallizia had claimed to be linked to the maltese politicians eight months before he was killed by a car bomb in February 2017.
This arrest comes a day after Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said he would consider forgiveness for a person arrested yesterday as a mediator in the murder of journalist Daphne Carwana Galisia.
Fenech is also the director and co-owner of a business group that won a major energy concession from the state of Malta in 2013 to build a gas station on the island.
