Serbian citizen denies guilt for preparing terrorist works against Republic of Kosovo security

At the initial session, held Monday at the Special Department of the Constitutional Court in Pristina, following reading the indictment by prosecutor Florije Shamlli, the accused Antic, has denied guilt for the three criminal acts he is charged with.

“I don't feel guilty for either of the criminal acts”, accused Antic said.

After the defendant's statement, the chairman of the court, Judge Musa Kondzhel, has announced that within 30 days he may present objections to the evidence and request for the prosecution.

Later, Judge Kondzhel has asked the accused Antic whether he will commit protection under authorisation, or accept the lawyer appointed under official duty, Ilir Gashi.

In this regard, Antic has said he will engage a lawyer under authorisation, which, according to him, will also present objections to this indictment.

Prosecutor Shamlli, has asked the court to identify herself in the process, that she has brought all the subject papers to the accused, but that he expects his lawyer's appointment to hand over.

In the end, Judge Kondzhel has announced that the preliminary procedure for this case was conducted at the Foundation Court in Gjilan, and after the establishment of the indictment this subject was transferred to the Special Department of the Foundation Court in Pristina.

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, on October 1st 2019, has filed charges against Srba Antiq due to criminal acts “Preparing terrorist acts or criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo”, from Article 144 par.3 of KPR, “Defeit “from Article 335 par.2 related to the KPR and criminal work “ownership, or unauthorized possession of weapons<5> to 371 KPR.

According to the prosecution, on July 12th 2018, from Post of Serbia No.1 in the northern part of Mitrovica, accused Srba Antiq, has sent a package of injuries to Radomir Repanovic in the village of Oswan, the municipality of Istog, and in which the package was found a type “pistol. The PSRK claims that this pamphlet called for the injured and other Serbian citizens as well: Momir Radenkovic, Begob Portic, Sasa Portic, Milos Nedelkoviq, Milan Pavllovic, Dragana Pantic, etc., to carry weapons from various warehouses in Mitrovica in order to launch attacks and use physical violence against Serbian citizens so that the international community can blame Albanians.

According to the second device of this indictment, Srba Antiq is charged with being introduced as a senior health ministry official in Serbia and as a representative of the organisation for diabetes sufferers by means of illegal profitability.

According to this indictment, accused Antic has previously received different amounts of money, such as the injured Radomir Repanovic amounting to 7,000 euros, the injured Srdjan Radenkovic of 2000 euros, Momir Radenkovik 5,000 euros, and many others had asked for money for their employment, but because of the high sums, have not been able to deliver.
