Rama: Serbia must recognise Kosovo, this issue must close forever

Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has said Kosovo and Serbia must close this issue and of course Serbia recognise Kosovo.

Rama has declared that the United States of America and the European Union oppose the exchange of Kosovo-Serbia territories.

Rama made this statement on the “Real Story” just the day American President Donald Trump has appointed US Ambassador to Germany Richard Green as envoy for the dialogue.

He said it is neither for partition of Kosovo nor for changing borders, while accusing the opposition that it only engages in what it says about Kosovo.

All the stories that I supposedly share Kosovo are stories that are made here to spread hatred. Kosovo and Montenegro today have very good relations. Here we have a series of protagonists who are ready to put Albania, Kosovo, into hell just to fit it. Kosovo and Serbia must close this issue and surely Serbia will recognise Kosovo. I am against exchange of territory and not borders with ethnic lines. Chancellor Merkel had misunderstandings from these and Merkel I've clarified about my ideas and she told me she agrees. The US and the EU are together against the exchange of” territories, Rama said in interview with journalist Sokol Balla.
