The qualifying match for the 2022 World Championship took place in the capital of North Korea, Pyongyang on Tuesday, in a stadium where there were no fans from neither nationals.
The match, which ended 0-0, was only the second time that the South Korean National held in Pyongyang, Periscope reports.
The two states are technically still at war until relations continue to deteriorate.
The event was like war,” said Southern Football Federation Vice President Choi Young-il after the team returned home.
“Verti-koreans never looked you in the eye when I spoke to them, let me get back to you, he added.
