Migen Kelmendi, who was an MP candidate from the PDK ranks, via a Facebook post writes that the PDK is not missing these elections.
He says this party created an unprecedented standard so far in the Balkans, citing the acceptance of the election result two hours after the 6 October elections ended.
Kelmendi also writes about how he failed to become an MP. Finally, his writing concludes with: We are sickened by the song.
Here's a full note:
Even in these elections, we saw Democracy act. We have her power.
He realized the powers, established protagonists and created opportunities for new standards.
The Democratic Party is not missing the elections. It's the election rescue. He managed to save 170 grand of his own votes and increase their number. Ten grand.
The PDK set a new standard in Balkan democracy: accepted the result within two hours and came to a position. Something unprecedented and unprecedented in the Balkans.
The PDK needs a lot of this breathing, to continue deepening reform, opening up measures to new frameworks, and detailing its programme for Kosovo development.
Personally, I lost the opportunity to serve the public through the Kosovo Assembly. I am grateful to them all that through the vote they support and believe, as I am, to a PDK and Kosovo that can reform themselves and govern this country. This common goal remains my motive in the future political engagement.
But... I didn't have a party, nor did I have another 30 thousand votes... no better, no younger:
It convinces them that there's a lot of space and other opportunities to serve the public, that the PDK remains the political force without which Kosovo is imagined, that its power has to be seen even as the leaders of opinion, I tell you:... We're fucked!
