More than 700 people with ties to the Islamic State (ISIS) have fled the northern-born Syria camp, while Kurdish forces controlling the area reached agreement with the Assad regime to counter Turkey's bloody attack.
Kurdish fighters who control the region will hand over Manbigi and Kobanne's Darmask border sites in an agreement that was facilitated by Russia, top officials have said tonight, writes The Guardian, past Periscope.
Syrian state media reported that army units from Syrian President Bashar al-Assad were moving north to go “confronted with Turkish aggression on Syrian territory”.
Unconfirmed reports have said that the agreement between Kurds and the regime would then be extended to apply throughout northern Syria.
The deal would likely spell a bitter end to five years of the semi-authonomim of Kurdish groups in northern Syria. /Periscope
