German club racing in second league St. Paul has fired football player Cenk Sahin because of the Turkish Army's public support for the operation in northern Syria.
Sahin through the Instagram has welcomed Turkish offensive to Kurds in Syria, after which the club has reacted by saying that behaviour is not in line with club standards.
We are on the side of our heroic army. Our prayers are for you”, wrote Sahin in the Instagram.
St. Paul has been fighting for return to Bundesliga since this season, known as the left-wing club since 1980.
Sahin has been Turkey's former representative to the youth team while fighting for Istanbul's teams and Ingolstad.
It is learned that he has returned to Istanbul, while in January he may play for a new club.
