Haradinaj writes to the president of the Interpol Executive Committee, Mr. Kim Jong Yang and Secretary General Jurgen Stock in which he welcomes these two to attend the annual meeting held in Santiago of Chile.
Although Haradinaj praises the work of the Kosovo police, even citing the high level of security organisation and security in the elections, he eventually asks Interpol leaders to postpone Kosovo's application to the General Assembly for membership in this international organisation for next year, writes Periscopi.
This letter marks the current failure by the state of Kosovo to become an Interpol member state.
Following failure for membership in Interpol last year, the Kosovo government led by Ramush Haradinaj had charged 100 per cent of the goods imported from Serbia. /Periscope
