The US State Department has commended Kosovars for the successful outcome of early elections. The UN has demanded that Kosovo's new leadership be ready to engage immediately for dialogue with Serbia, writes “Koha Ditore” today.
We welcome the opportunity to work with a new government, pro-dialog, when it is formed and which is dedicated to strengthening democracy and ensuring peace, justice and prosperity for all Kosovo citizens. We have been clear to our expectations that the new Kosovo leadership will be willing to engage immediately with Serbia to work on the agreement normalising relations”, an American State Department spokesman has said.
