The director of the so-called office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Marko Djuric, has accused Kosovo officials of discrimination against Serbs during the election campaign.
Serbia's so-called office director for Kosovo in Government Marko Djurovic has appealed to Serbs from Kosovo and all “those who feel Serbia as their state” to participate in the October 6th elections in Kosovo, despite pressure and stops from the Albanian side.
“Serbs face brutal discrimination, and the only way to defeat it is the masovic challenge. I call on all Serbs from Kosovo who are on voters' lists, regardless of what documentation they possess, to exploit their right”, Djuric declared it “RTS”, broadcast news.net.
“They are trying to discriminate against us and we will be presenting to the international institutions”, he added.
Djurd, among other things, added that Serbs in the elections should appear united. He has said the voice of Serbs will be more important if a considerable number of their representatives are reached.
The outcome of the elections also depends on protection of district institutions that can be protected by Serbs, Djuric said.
He has complained at the detention of Kosovo state officials for representatives of Serbia to participate in the election campaign of their countrymen in Kosovo, and considered it a matter of discrimination Belgrade will present to international institutions.
