British police have not yet managed to identify the citizenship of 39 victims found inside a truck southwest of the country, allegedly immigrants. Pippa Mills, Zv. Asked whether authorities have managed to reveal the citizenship of the victims, Mills said this has been impossible, but police have placed a top priority on identifying troops.
The Essex police said earlier that it was an ambulance service that called at 1:40 for a truck loaded with people standing inside Waterglade industrial park. Asked who called the ambulance, the police official said she did not have that information yet.
Meanwhile, Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry has declared that the Embassy in London is co-operating with authorities for the event, as the truck is believed to have arrived right from the Balkan state.
The Essex area has been populated mainly by immigrants of origin from Bagladesh, a state in Asia, however, local authorities have given no details on victims' citizenship.
