Kosovo continues to rank high in the measure of business making (Doing Business) by the World Bank as well as 2019. Before Kosovo in the region, only northern Macedonia continues to be.
The World Bank points out that in maintaining this greater impact for this year, there has been only relief in obtaining construction permits and improving electricity.
Kosovo has increased power supply security by vigorously investing in the power grid, as it implemented the automatic power management system for monitoring outages and restoring electricity supply”, says the Doing Business report for 2019.
KEDS is constantly investing to improve the much-old inherited network. Hundreds of municipalities have completely renovated networks, while investments continue across the country, focused on areas where the situation was heavier.
In parallel, the company also worked on digitalizing the network.
In advancing the latest technological systems, KEDS has launched two innovative network monitoring programmes, real-time investigation and reporting of problems, a World Bank-assigned. These are the Koo program SOVANET to identify decay, and SCADA System to control electrical substation and obtain detailed data from these substations.
