Nusrat Yahan Rafi, 19, died in April in Feni, a small town about 100 miles [160 km] outside of the country's capital city of Dukas.
The teacher in question had charged sexual harassment, and two of her classmates had been sentenced.
Her murder had shocked the country and sparked a series of protests seeking justice for Nusrat, the BBC writes, records Periscopi.
The trial was one of the fastest in the country where cases usually take years to close.
Yet, Mother's agony did not fade even after this quick decision.
The investigation into Nusrat's death uncovered a conspiracy to silence her over the charge she had made to her classmates and a number of powerful men within her community.
Three teachers, including her boss, were also sentenced to death after being ordered to murder. They were arrested just under suspicion of harassment. /Periscope
