Albin Kurti attacks the Nobel Prize: This prize is not granted for reasons “literary”

That reaction from Kurt came a little late because the price in question was given 12 days earlier, October 10th.

So the list of appreciated ones has increased the price. But what is the value of Peter Handke's award, this genocide lawyer and the unbeliever of the pain and trauma of all peoples?

Oscar Wilde of Dorian Gray's portrait wrote that “does not have the moral or immoral book, except for the book written well or bad”. But the Nobel Prize does not divide separate books, but it is always given to a writer. And if we can also judge the book or literature in itself as independent of the author, we cannot judge the writer as entirely independent of ourselves, the work of his word. We ought to appreciate him as a man, as our contemporary, that by his attitudes, his words and deeds build up his own person as he builds him up with the works he writes. Therefore, despite any consideration “literary framework”, it cannot prevent Peter Handke's selection of the Nobel Prize in 2019 from revolting.

The Balkans need justice, peace and reconciliation, following bloody wars and ongoing tensions. In fact, through justice for crimes, we also reach historical and human truth, to mutual trust for reconciliation in the future.

Sartre would not need to discuss these. With Handke it's not possible to discuss this. Because Sartre was on the side of the bully. But Handke is on the side of the wrongdoer who does not repent. /Periscope
