Ahmeti has said that two weeks ago, during an internal raid on the Pristina municipality, they found that a property tax official has issued false claims on property tax debts, and that after that he has instructed the finance director to report this official to the police.
These claims are required to register cars, and of course the false release of such claims is a legal offense. I've instructed the finance director to report the officer to the police and we've started disciplinary procedures. As a result of the same official reporting today has been accompanied to police for criminal work”, Ahmeti wrote on his official Facebook account.
He has said they will not tolerate such violations by officials, regardless of positions and consequences.
