Thaci welcomes co-ordination meeting for dialogue called by Kadri Veseli

That meeting has called it necessary for co-ordination of steps in the final phase of dialogue.

The president's full announcement:

I welcome and support today's co-ordination meeting for dialogue, as a necessary action for co-ordinating steps in the final phase of dialogue. Kosovo is struggling to build the needed unity in issues of state interest.

However, if we are united, we will successfully conclude this building chapter as well.

As president of the Republic of Kosovo, I highly appreciate the efforts of Prime Minister Wessel for inter-institutional co-ordination and between parliamentary groups for strengthening political unity.

Despite possible causes, fleeing political responsibility and boycotting this process is contrary to our state interest and that of our strategic partners.

Therefore, no one should hesitate to assume responsibility in this final phase of dialogue, which is expected to conclude with a peaceful and comprehensive agreement, which Kosovo will provide for Serbia and UN, NATO and EU membership. HTH
