Former Serbian president warns conflict between Kosovo, Serbia

Serbia's former president, Boris Tadic, has spoken of the possible agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, saying he does not support the thought of continuing the frozen conflict between the two states, but does not agree with even those voices that say Serbia should surrender to the Kosovo issue.

He has said the frozen conflict could not last for a long time due to Serbia's economic and demographic growth.

“The so-called modern voices which say we should withdraw from Kosovo because they consider that part is already lost, prevents our further economic development, as a country that gives up so easily from part of its territory sends other signals that it is able to do so with other parts of it, and would give a message to investors that it is a unstable country”, Boris Tadic has said among other things.
