The Democratic League of Kosovo, calls for a political agreement, for the government's comprehensive reconfiguration and the structure of dialogue with Serbia, have declared officials of this party, which is the largest opposition subject in the Kosovo Assembly.

The deputy chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lutfi Haziri, speaking of Radio Free Europe, has stressed that this political subject will not forgive anyone the political legitimacy it has in the Kosovo Assembly and that it bears with its opposition stance.

According to him, since early elections, which he said were preferred by the LDK, are difficult to happen in the current phase, due to the association of the Social Democrat Party in the process of dialogue, then a political agreement is needed.

The need for a total <x0 configuration of governance or current state institutions” has initially highlighted the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, at a media conference on Monday. It has highlighted this need, in order to ensure the necessary majority or the necessary representation, which would then enable the ratification of eventual agreements in the Brussels dialogue, but also “the role each political subject belongs to on the basis of political power”.

On the other hand, Memli Krasniqi, chief of the Democratic Party of Kosovo parliamentary group, which is the largest party within the ruling coalition led by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, tells Radio Free Europe that the Kosovo government has full legitimacy in its mandate to implement the ruling programme, under the coalition agreement.
