According to University of Pristina prorector Dasalmir Brxul, it remains unclear why the State Council of Quality has removed accreditment for several research programmes.

In the Express Interview on KTV, Brxul has said Pristina University has yet to receive official clarification from the KSHC why it has “these unexpected decisions”.

The State Council of Quality has made some drastic decisions that have not been expected. As a UP, we have several years experience with accreditation. We have structures to make demands, no matter what the demands are elaborate. It was a normal process and we had continued contact. This year, we thought we were having problems with accredited programs, and we must have been worried about these. We don't know why our accreditation was removed. The agency usually announces what happened, but the official reasoning about why they're still removed has given”, he said.

Speaking of the Psychological Department, which is affected by the KSHC's decision, Burxley said this department has worked well for five years as accredited.

There must be discussions. There's room to see what happened. Removing accreditions, I think, if that's what happens for some big reason, it shouldn't be done that way. For example, in Bichelor Psychologist, he's been accredited and well worked for five years. There are large numbers of apps, mostly educated staff abroad. It's unclear”, he added.

The stock has added further than the KSHC has even waited for no complaints about the decision.

Commenting on the letter by Public University Rectors to the Minister of Education, for the dismissal of the Agency for Accreditation, Burxul has said the letter was for the ministry to forward the Assembly and for the Assembly to make the dismissal.

The stock has also said that professors did not want salary increases, but neither did they, speaking of the much-pronounced wage bill and strikes in education, Mr. Birxul has said that higher education has joined the SBASK, since he refuses to have a reduction of the cofficiators.

- It's down. There are thoughts that don't even feel themselves part of the law”, he said, adding that “Cofficients cannot be determined every six months”. The professors have asked for pay raise, but not to cut salaries. Of course, we wish for management along with the deans that the strike will be completed as soon as we return to activities. We didn't want to go on strike, but this is a forced solution. Lus everybody understand the selection”.

As for delaying January-term exams, Brxul has said that the UPI has experience in these cases and will make the best possible “resolution”.
