About 620m euros in revenue have not been enough for Kosovo public companies to complete years without losses. According to a study of the newspaper “Voice” over the past two years, 206) Kosovo public companies have reported losses of 44m euros, although they have had access to no less than 618m euros.
Based on documents provided by the newspaper “Voice”, it is seen that to keep “alive” 16 public companies (NP) operating in our country in the form of subsidies, these companies are supported by the government by 24m euros, writes the newspaper “Zri”.
The government through the Ministry of Economic Development has supported by financial means the Central Public and Local Enterprises with a total budget of 9.6m euros, of which 4.6m euros capital projects were provided, while for implementation of government policies subsidies of nearly 5m euros, by the time they were supported by 14m and 562 thousand euros”, reports the report on the performance of the Ministry of Economic Development Public Enterprises.
