He left the country to avoid being sentenced to two years in prison. Now it seems like you're enjoying life in Hungary as an asylumr. Hungarian media have recently published images of Nikola Gruevski at a shopping centre in Budapest. The short video shows that it is calm, even shopping.
Nikola Gruevski fled Macedonia in November 2018, passing from Albania. He was helped by the Hungarian Embassy's car in Tirana and later made it to the Montenegrin border. In customs, former Prime Minister Gruevski was allowed to pass after the order to stop him emerged two days later by Macedonian authorities.
