Nikola Gruevski fled Macedonia in November 2018, passing from Albania. He was helped by the Hungarian Embassy's car in Tirana and later made it to the Montenegrin border. In customs, former Prime Minister Gruevski was allowed to pass after the order to stop him emerged two days later by Macedonian authorities.
